Uploading to HubSpot

Uploading sends your project to HubSpot, making your cards and pages live in your portal. This is how your work goes from the Palpaca editor to the actual HubSpot interface.

  1. Open the project you want to upload by clicking its card on the dashboard
  2. In the action pill at the top of the project view, click the Upload button
  3. Palpaca packages your project and pushes it to the HubSpot developer project linked during onboarding
  4. Once complete, your project status changes to Deployed

When you upload, Palpaca sends the following to HubSpot:

  • All cards in the project, including their generated code and configuration
  • The Home page and Settings page, if they exist
  • Card metadata (object types, locations) that tells HubSpot where to display each component

After uploading:

  • Cards appear in the locations you specified (Record Tab, Record Sidebar, Preview, or Helpdesk Sidebar) on the relevant CRM record pages
  • Home page is accessible from the HubSpot navigation menu
  • Settings page is accessible from your app’s settings area

It may take a moment for changes to propagate in HubSpot after uploading.

You can upload as many times as you want. Each upload overwrites the previous version in HubSpot with your latest changes. There is no separate “publish” step — uploading is deploying.

Before you can upload, your connection must be fully set up through the onboarding flow, including the App ID and Private Access Token steps. If the Upload button is not available, check that your connection setup is complete in the left sidebar.
