Getting Started

Welcome to Palpaca, the AI-powered platform for building HubSpot UI Extensions. This guide walks you through the dashboard and helps you take your first steps.

Palpaca lets you create custom UI extensions for HubSpot CRM using an AI agent. Describe what you want in plain language, and the agent generates production-ready components that embed directly into HubSpot record pages, sidebars, and more.

No front-end coding experience is required. The agent handles the code — you focus on what your team needs.

After connecting your HubSpot portal, you land on the dashboard. This is your home base for managing projects.

The dashboard shows:

  • Project grid — all your projects displayed as cards, each showing the project name, creation date, and status (Draft or Deployed)
  • New Project card — the dashed card at the end of the grid for creating a new project
  • Top bar — access the Gallery, view your credit balance and active function count, and open documentation or support
  1. Connect a HubSpot portal — if you have not already, the onboarding flow walks you through connecting your HubSpot account and granting Palpaca access to your CRM data
  2. Create a project — click New Project, give it a name and optional description, then click Create
  3. Add a card — inside your project, click the New Card dashed card, choose an object type and location, then open the editor
  4. Describe what you want — type a prompt like “Show the contact’s name, email, and last activity date in a clean layout” and hit Send
  5. Upload to HubSpot — when you are happy with the result, click the Upload button to push it live
  • UI tab — your project dashboard (selected by default)
  • Gallery tab — browse the 40 HubSpot SDK components available to the agent
  • Left sidebar — switch between connected portals, add new connections, and access settings
  • Right sidebar — contextual documentation (you are reading it now) and support chat
  • Read Platform Overview to understand how projects, cards, and the agent work together
  • Jump into Adding a New Connection if you need to connect your HubSpot portal
  • Or just create a project and start building
